chapters 1-4
Well! I like this book so far- I can relate to Holden Caufield's attitude about other people. He is very observant about things that many other people would never notice, which is quite similar to me. Honestly, he doesn't really have a bad attitude, just a different one. All the people who surround him are so positive about school and "the future" and whatever, but he sees things different;y, and I don't think its necessarily a bad thing. I can really relate to him; just because he isn't a perfect student and doesn't have a billion popular friends, does NOT mean he won't succeed. I like this guy. :)

I agree. It seems that he doesn't care what others think and he doesn't want to be a part of the crowd. He seems to be a nonconformist and won't follow what others do but do what he wants.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you, i like how he is very real and has very real opinions of people and it seems like hes very good at seeing through people to see who they really are.
